Boulder Parking Canned Food Drive for Our Community

October 25 - 27 | 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.

For three days, Oct. 25-27, canned fruit, tuna/meat, peanut butter and other non-perishables will be collected at the parking payment booth at the 15th and Pearl Streets garage. As a sponsor, Boulder Parking Services will offer a coupon good for one hour of FREE garage parking (valid through 11/12/2010) for each donation.

he City of Boulder Downtown & University Hill Management Division/Parking Services' Diversity & Inclusiveness Group is organizing the drive. They decided that organizing a non-perishable food drive prior to the winter holidays would be a positive way to combat hunger right outside our doors.

Those wishing to contribute may even drive-thru the parking garage, provided they enter on 16th Street and exit on 15th Street, and say hello to Liz and Bob. Proceeds will benefit both the BCAP food bank and Community Food Share, collectively serving hundreds of Boulder residents living in poverty.
