Join the Tajik and Persian Community to celebrate Navruz, the Persian New Year on Sunday, March 20th in the Community Plaza and the Boulder Teahouse. From 12 – 5 p.m. on the plaza there will be dancing, food and entertainment At 5 p.m. a special Navruz Celebration Feast will take place at the Teahouse ($28 per person) for a Persian, four-course family style feast.

Renovation of Family Gathering Place on 1200 Block of
Pearl Street Mall

1200 Block of Pearl | Lasting 6-10 Weeks

Renovation of the Family Gathering Place, located on the 1200 block of the Pearl Street Mall, has begun. After 34 years, the area is being improved to remove deteriorating wood timbers and improve safety and accessibility. Renovation of the area will include adding an ADA-access ramp, replacing surface material, and replacing wood timbers with new, untreated, Ipe hardwood timbers. The existing bridge was replaced recently and will remain.The renovation process is expected to take approximately 6 to10 weeks (depending upon weather).
