Our website works much better than any other online directory out there. You can find a lot of relevant
information about a Downtown merchant with a very quick search on our site.

Try it…

  1. Say you want to find the phone number for Word is Out Women's Bookstore...

  2. Go to BoulderDowntown.com
Type Word is Out in the search bar and hit enter.

  3. This will return a page about Word is Out with the following information: address, phone, website, business categories, acceptance of Downtown Boulder gift card, link to a map of Word is Out's location, nearby parking/shopping/dining and a business description.

Buff Stampedes kick off in Downtown Boulder!

Last Friday, hundreds of folks gathered in front of the courthouse on the Pearl Street Mall to kick off the first of six Buff Stampedes. The Stampedes feature the Golden Buffalo Marching Band where they parade down the mall rallying fans with music and cheers. The band starts at the courthouse (1300 block of Pearl Street) and heads west down the mall for a crescendo at the Camera parking lot. This year, the band is joined by CU football team members and special parade marshals.

The dates of the stampedes and scheduled parade marshals are as follows:

September 14th- Cliff Branch
September 21st- Daniel Graham & Matt Lepsis
September 28th- Deon Figures, Kanavis McGhee, Matt Russell, & Alfred Williams
October 19th- Dick Anderson & Wilmer Cooks; •November 2nd- Eddie Crowder, Dan Hawkins, & Bill McCartney.

After each Stampede, please visit one of the sponsor restaurants for more music and great food- BJs, Lazy Dog, Old Chicago, Pasta Jay’s, and West End Tavern.
