Farmers' Market Corner
The Farmers' Market offers an opportunity for Boulder area restaurants that buy products from any of the market’s local growers and ranchers to promote their business at the Market. This program is called Restaurant Fresh Connection. In this specially allocated space at the Market, restaurants can present their literature and take turns providing samples and doing demonstrations for the public. Over 25 of the finest restaurants in our area participate in the Restaurant Fresh Connection the Boulder County Farmers' Market.

Parking Paystation Q&A
Downtown Boulder parking meters will be replaced with new solar powered pay stations that accept both coins and credit/debit cards. This section addresses questions posed by patrons of Downtown. If you have a specific question you would like answered send an email to parking@dbi.org.

Q: Where is the City planning on placing the parking pay stations?

A: You can now see where the City proposes to place the parking pay stations. Around downtown, small pink dots have been placed on the pavement or at the base of various meter poles. These are proposed sites and will be finalized over the next couple of weeks.

For an extensive Q&A on the new paystations, visit www.boulderparking.com

SPOTLIGHT ON ...

Downtown Boulder celebrates its
29th year promoting the Arts

The 2007 Downtown Boulder ArtFair will host close to 150 local and national artisans with works ranging from watercolor, acrylics, photography and jewelry; up to large sculptures and works of fiber. The artists, including CU grads, were selected from 300 applicants by a jury of four art experts. There will be something for every pocketbook and taste—from fine art to fine craft. All artwork is original and produced by the exhibiting artist. About 90,000 people are expected to attend the ArtFair this year.

The ArtFair will be July 21st from 10am-8pm and July 22nd from 10am-5pm with a slight change this year: The Fair has moved east a block and will cover Pearl Street between 10th and 16th streets. The ArtFair is sponsored by KBCO, The Camera and the Downtown Boulder merchants.
