Colorado Children’s Day
Colorado Children’s Day in Boulder is April 25th from 12-4pm on the 1300 block of the Pearl Street Mall. Children's Day is an afternoon of free activities for children through elementary school age. It is designed to celebrate children and engage them in many activities.

Activities include exploration of emergency vehicles, interactive live music, face painting, games with CU athletes, dancing in the popjet fountain and more. This will also be an opportunity for parents to learn about the many services available to them in Boulder. Click here to view more.

Caring for Our Downtown Trees
Trees in our downtown areas grow under some tough conditions. Many are surrounded by concrete, lack good irrigation, endure air pollution and heat island effects and many have been damaged by construction. These trees need your help!

The City’s Urban Forestry Division cares for the downtown area trees that reside in the public right-of-way (generally between the street and the building fronts). The Urban Forestry Division provides many basic services to the trees, however, we need your help, especially with providing water to the trees! Click here for more info and to read how you can help.

KidLinks Entry Form Now Available
The KidLinks Program at Boulder Community Hospital is a unique program for children with special needs and their families. Help Downtown send these special kids to summer camp by participating in the KidLinks Golf Tournament on Wednesday, May 21st at Lake Valley Golf Club.

Downtown businesses can play in the tournament or participate by contributing prizes. For more information, download the brochure and entry form here. To donate a prize or for more info, contact Renae Foxhoven (renae@dbi.org).

Now that the solar powered pay stations are up and running there are a few questions that people have. This section addresses these questions.

Q: Can I take my time with me?

A: Yes! Once you have your printed receipt displayed on your dashboard, you may move your vehicle to another metered spot until your original time is up.

If you have a specific question you would like answered send an email to parking@dbi.org.
