2009 Snowball Party
On Friday, Oct. 30, head to the b.side Lounge for a snow-themed Halloween party benefiting Ovarian Cancer. Joel Gratz organized the event two years ago in loving memory of his mom, Carolyn A. Marks. Enjoy a DJ and 80's cover band (Goonies) as well as a costume contest, ice luge & ski shots and ski themed movies on the big screen! Suggested donations prior to the event: $45 for a gold star ticket and $25 for a silver star ticket. Add $5 if you purchase tickets at the door. More...
Ghost Walk / Ghost Talk
Join Historic Boulder & Psychic Horizons Center for a spirited tour of distinctive, historic buildings in Downtown Boulder on Oct. 30 from 7 - 10 p.m. Enjoy personal readings by psychics and refreshments. Tickets are $15 for non-members, $12 for members, $5 for kids under 12. Tickets available at Historic Boulder and the Boulder Book Store. More
Girls Night Out Benefits Parenting Place
Ladies, grab your girlfriends and get ready to enjoy a night of shopping, food and fun. On Thursday, Nov. 12, head to Rembrandt Yard for the 5th annual Girls Night Out event Shop unique, local vendors and enjoy wine hors d'oeuvres and desserts while supporting a wonderful organization, Parenting Place.Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door (and includes a raffle ticket). As Halloween approaches, Downtown Boulder hopes everyone with plans to celebrate does so safely and respectfully. Please remember all of the business owners, employees, community groups, staff who work tirelessly day after day to keep the Pearl Street Mall and surrounding areas the heart of our vibrant city. Be safe and have a Happy Halloween and CU Homecoming! Join us October 29 for the Munchkin Masquerade and October 30 for a Pearl Street Stampede. GO BUFFS! To ensure public safety the Boulder Police Department will have 40 officers assigned to downtown on Halloween night and suggests bringing in all planters, seating, decor items at closing to prevent damage to your property.
Volunteers Needed for Munchkin
Downtown Boulder is looking for a few good men and women to help as marshals during Munchkin Masquerade on Thursday, October 29. Two shifts available between 2 to 5 p.m. Marshals help participants safely cross the streets and provide information. Email us for more info!

Hannah Teter, 2006 Olympic gold medalist hosts DIVAS in DRAG
Outdoor DIVAS present the 4th annual Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC) DIVAS in DRAG show October 28 at 7 p.m. Burton professional snowboarder and Olympian Hannah Teter will host this year's show. Yes, that is right, a drag show modeling the latest in ladies winter snowboarding attire and accessories while earning money for the B4BC foundation. The cause is worthy, though the men may be girly!
