Fall Fest 2014

Fall has officially arrived! Don't miss Downtown Boulder's 27th annual Fall Fest. The event features local microbrews, live music, plenty of children’s entertainment (including a carnival) and more than 30 artisan booths along the Pearl Street Mall. Bring your whole family downtown for this fun filled three-day event!

Don't forget, every Saturday and Sunday enjoy free parking in the City of Boulder Parking Garages.

Fall Fest: Volunteers Needed!

Fall Fest relies on the help and support of over 75 volunteers to ensure its success. We'd love for you to join us for a few hours.

Volunteers will receive an invitation to an appreciation party (with free food and drinks) on Sunday (9/21) afternoon and will also be entered to win a $100 Downtown Boulder Gift Card. All Fall Fest volunteers receive a t-shirt and a free beer after your shift is complete (with non-alcoholic options as well).

Weekend Fun

Head downtown this weekend for a wide variety of free events:

Romanian Festival

Enjoy culture, food, and dance at the Romanian Festival on the 1300 block of Pearl from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m on Saturday.

Boulder Green Streets Ciclovia

Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. cycle, roll, and stroll through Ciclovia. Along the car-free streets visitors can enjoy live music, fun activities, healthy foods, exhibitions and many surprises.

Out Boulder's Pride Fest

Also on Sunday is Pride Fest in Central Park featuring vendors, live entertainment, beer and mead garden, youth and family area, VIP tent and much more- many activities scheduled throughout the day.

Pearl Street Stampedes: Fridays before home football games!

CU vs. Arizona State

Friday, September 12 | 7PM | 1300 block of Pearl Street

Go Buffs! This Friday, come cheer on the CU Buffs Football team before their home game against Arizona State!

Join hundreds of Buffs fans, members of the CU Football team and Golden Buffalo Marching Band for a one-of-a-kind pep rally on the bricks! Stampedes start on the 1300 block and head west to 11th street. GO BUFFS!

Boulder Civic Area: Save The Dates!

Last year, thousands of Boulderites helped shape a new vision for Boulder's Civic Area. They imagined a place where everyone could have fun, enjoy nature, explore the arts, eat local food, and help make decisions about our future.

Join the City of Boulder for an evening of inspiration, introductions and ideas as we set-out to translate Boulder’s community vision to reality at the Civic Area.

Using the council-approved Vision Plan as a springboard, the Civic Area team and Tom Leader Studio will host a public open house to collect feedback on specific topics related to the Civic Area site transformation.


Drive Electric Week

September 17 | 4 - 7PM | Boulder County Farmers' Market

Come test drive (or just check out) the latest Electric Vehicles (EVs) while you're at the September 17th Farmers' Market! Get up close and personal with the Nissan Leaf, Tesla Model S, Chevy Volt, BMW i3, Toyota Highlander Fuel Cell, Coda, and more. Test drive signups will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Also, view locally-owned EVs (both standard and conversions) and speak with owners about benefits of driving an EV.

Boulder International Fringe Festival

The Boulder Fringe Festival hosts artists, local, national and international, presenting shows in 12 days at various venues – mostly within Boulder’s cultural corridor in the heart of downtown. The Boulder International Fringe Festival is in service to the community, building bridges between audiences, artists, businesses and civic organizations in conjunction with the worldwide Fringe Festival® network.
