City of Boulder garages and surface lot to close at 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29
The city-owned garages at 15th and Pearl, 11th and Spruce, RTD at 14th and Walnut, 1000 Walnut at the St. Julien and 1100 Walnut at the Randolph Center, along with the surface lot at 11th and Spruce will close to incoming vehicles 9 p.m. Saturday, October 29 reopening at 2 a.m. on Sunday, October 30. Vehicles already parked in the garages will be allowed to exit throughout the evening.
Trick-or-Treating on Pearl Street! Each Halloween, Downtown Boulder is invaded by tiny ghosts & goblins, dinosaurs & dragons, fairies & princes, super heroes and animals of every size trick-or-treating along Pearl Street.
This year, over 80 Downtown Businesses are participating as Treat Stops. Start at the Daily Camera Booth at the top of 11th and Pearl for Treat Stop map and additional information!
Monday, October 31 | 1:30 - 5:00 p.m. | Pearl Street
Volunteers are needed to serve as crossing guards helping children (and parents) safely cross streets. Costumes are encouraged!

This season, Downtown Boulder will shine brighter than ever when Santa "switches" on the lights. With a holiday performances by Boulder Chorale, Boulder's premium community chorus, which will be followed by Santa counting down to the grand illumination of the Boulder County Courthouse, the Pearl Street Mall and the star on Flagstaff Mountain
Then follow Tweedle's the Elf and the Fairview High drum corps over to the Ice Rink at One Boulder Plaza for Light up the Ice skating performances and then discounted skating
Boulder's own homegrown film festival is a forum for the most inspiring independent films of the year.
Join us for the 9th annual Adventure Film Festival at the Boulder Theater and select community venues, November 3rd, 4th and 5th.
Bringing together the world's best adventurers, musicians, artists, activists and filmmakers to a Boulder stage for one action-packed weekend, these international film debuts, live multi-media performances and ultimate narratives of adventure are not to be missed.
It's the second to last Stampede of the 2011 season so don't be fooled! With the next Buffs home game vs.the USC Trojans, taking place on a Friday night, the Stampede will be moved to a Thursday night (November 3).
The Stampede starts at 7 p.m. in front of the Boulder County Court House on the 1300 block of Pearl Street. Come cheer the football team and coaches while the Golden Buffalo Marching Band get the crowd in the mood (heads west).
