Become a Member of the BID Board Of Directors!

The Downtown Boulder Business Improvement District (BID) is a 49-block neighborhood where property owners tax themselves to make their community cleaner, safer and more vibrant. The tax generates approximately $1 million and is used by the BID primarily for:

  • Marketing and advertising to generate consumer traffic downtown
  • Maintenance and cleaning
  • Additional security
  • Signage and banners
  • Supporting events in the downtown area
The Board of Directors oversees the budget and operations of the BID. There are nine members who represent various geographic areas of downtown. Board members must be electors downtown or represent downtown electors (property owners). The three open spots are for representation of Pearl Street, the West End and East End.

Board meetings take place on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:30 a.m.
