Bike to Work Day and Parking Spaces DayWhen is a parking space not a parking space? When it’s a Park(ing) Space park. (136 square feet asphalt temporarily transformed into playful community.) As part of Walk & Bike Month, June 13 has been declared Park(ing) Spaces Day in Boulder. To celebrate, businesses & folks all over town will be taking over parking spot from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. What can be done with 8 feet by 17 feet of asphalt? The ground’s the limit! Rumor has it, there will be dog parks, gardens and outdoor work stations. Make sure you check out the creativity on the East End!
