Switch on the Holidays

Saturday, November 19 | 5 p.m. | 1300 Block of Pearl

This season, Downtown Boulder will shine brighter than ever when Santa "switches" on the lights. With a holiday performance by Boulder Chorale, Boulder's premium community chorus, which will be followed by Santa counting down to the grand illumination of the Boulder County Courthouse, the Pearl Street Mall and the star on Flagstaff Mountain.

Then follow Tweedle's the Elf and the Fairview High drum corps over to the Ice Rink at One Boulder Plaza for Light up the Ice skating performances and stay for $5 skate night (6:30 - 10:00 p.m.).

Small Business Saturday

Shop Small...It's Going to Be HUGE! First there was Black Friday, then Cyber Monday.  Now, there's Small Business Saturday! On November 26, shop and dine in our vibrant downtown. A day dedicated to supporting local businesses. 

Also, several of your favorite businesses will be participating in a Winter Sidewalk Sale and offering special savings & incentives!  The Sidewalk Sale runs November 25-27. Check individual businesses for additional details.

Downtown Boulder's Festival of Trees:
Benefiting Meals on Wheels Boulder

November 19 - December 16

This holiday season, DBI has partnered with Meals on Wheels Boulder to bring the Festival of Trees downtown!  Starting November 19 through December 16,  11 amazingly decorated trees will be on display in downtown businesses. Each tree will be available to win through a raffle drawing. Raffle tickets for each tree will be available ($5 each) at Meals on Wheels. All proceeds will benefit Meals on Wheels.

The public can purchase raffle tickets for a specific tree and/or for as many trees as they would like the chance to win. The drawing will be held December 16 and the winners will be notified by phone or email. A listing of the participating businesses can be found here

Girls Night Out benefiting Parenting Place

The Ice Rink at One Boulder Plaza will be opening this Friday, November 11 and will stay open until mid February.

The Ice Rink at One Boulder Plaza is located in the heart of downtown Boulder, one block off the historic Pearl Street Mall. The rink is surrounded by eclectic cafes, restaurants and shopping. Enjoy outdoor ice skating and winter cheer with family & friends.
