Downtown Boulder Gift Certificates (top)PurchasingAs a DBI Member, you have the option of participating in the Downtown Gift Certificate Program. Only DBI member merchants are listed on the back of the DBI gift certificates (other businesses can participate, but are not listed), which are purchased online and in the DBI office. Gift certificates can be gifts for visitors and employees, or are used in drawings and promotional events. They are available in increments of $5, $10, and $20. Redemption DBI redeems gift certificates twice a month, at a 95% rate for members and 90% for non-members. To redeem Downtown Boulder gift certificates, please call DBI at 303.449.3774 and let us know the total value of gift certificates you have to redeem. DBI delivers gift certificate redemption checks on the weekday nearest the 1st and 15th of each month, and will pick up the gift certificates in exchange for the redemption check. Please Note that Downtown Boulder Gift Certificates do not expire or have a declining balance, and therefore cannot be exchanged for cash, or partially redeemed. Cash back is a 5% loss for your business, since you will still be redeemed for 95% of the gift certificate amount. Partial redemption means that you will not have the gift certificate to turn into DBI in return for a redemption check, and therefore will not be reimbursed at all for the partial amount. Photocopies of gift certificates, notes referring to Gift Certificates, or any other voucher not issued by Downtown Boulder, Inc. will not be accepted for redemption. You may issue a store credit or gift card for a remaining balance on a Downtown Boulder Gift Certificate. Downtown Newsletter (top)The Downtown Update is published every other Thursday and is sent to over 1800 email subscribers, as well as posted on the Downtown Boulder website. As a DBI member, your business is eligible for inclusion in the newsletter.What We Typically Include
To Receive the Downtown Update visit boulderdowntown.com, select "Join Mailing List", and enter your email address. We encourage you to sign up for the email newsletter yourself. Not only will you be able to see the press you are getting, but you will also get an idea of what other businesses are doing. You will receive advance notice of other DBI events, both for members and non-members, ensuring your business' participation in important Downtown happenings. Downtown Community Exchanges Every second Thursday of the month, Downtown Boulder organizes a Downtown Community Exchange. These are an opportunity to expand your network of contacts, draw on the experiences of other businesses, and attend presentations on important Downtown happenings. DCEs are hosted and sponsored by a variety of Downtown businesses. Businesses also donate door prizes. Your business could be the next host, sponsor, or provider for a Downtown Community Exchange. It's a great way to get your business noticed, connected, and involved. Contact Dave Adams for more information on participating in Downtown Community Exchanges. Downtown Parking (top)For Your CustomersValidation tokens and stickers are available at the Downtown Boulder office weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm at a 25% discount. They can be purchased with cash or checks (checks must be made out to Parking Services). They can also be purchased from Parking Services in their office at 15th and Pearl on the 3rd floor. Pricing: Tokens (15 min/each)- 4 for $0.75, Rolls at $9.50 (50 tokens/roll) Stickers (30 min/each)- 2 for $0.75, Sheets at $9.50 (25 stickers/sheet) For You Tokens and stickers are not the only way to park Downtown. We also offer two other options for Downtown employees: Meter Keys are electronic pre-paid plastic keys which are inserted into the meter in place of coins. The Meter Key makes the meter more convenient and can be carried on a key ring or stored in your vehicle. Say goodbye to bulky loose change! You can now purchase NEW meter keys at our Broadway Suites location (recharging the key must still take place at Parking Services - 15th & Pearl). Pricing: $15 one time activation fee $1/hour, and you select how much to charge your key *keys available at Downtown Boulder are pre-charged with $15 of parking EcoPasses are available to any full-time Downtown employee within CAGID. This pass allows you to ride free on all parts of the regular RTD system, and can be renewed yearly. You can pick up the paperwork for your EcoPass at the Downtown Boulder office weekdays between 9 am and 5 pm. Downtown Boulder, Inc.
