Poetry Month Series: Getting Published @ Boulder Book Store

Join us in celebrating National Poetry Month with a night of poetry readings by  Marilyn Krysl andJake Adam York, followed by a brief discussion about publishing work in literary magazines. Marilyn Krysl's sixth book of poetry is Warscape With Lovers. Her poems have appeared in The Nation, the Pushcart Prize Anthology and other anthologies. Saying Things: Selected and New Poems will be published in 2008.  She is a former editor of Many Mountains Moving. Jake Adam York is the author of A Murmuration of Starlings and Murder Ballads . His poems have appeared in Shenandoah, Greensboro Review, Gulf Coast, and The Southern Review.  He teaches at CU Denver, where he directs the undergraduate Creative Writing program and produces the literary magazine Copper Nickel.
