From whimsical and modern sculptures to traditional watercolors and oils, Pearl Street Arts Fest (previously Open Arts Fest) is a celebration of visual arts featuring local and national artisans. The event will feature over 100 booths selling original works along Pearl Street as well as interactive art, children's activities and more.

Wednesday, June 24 10AM - 11AM | Throughout Boulder
Register for Walk and Bike to Work Day on Wednesday, June 24 and get free breakfast! Community Cycles has organized more than 50 local businesses around the city to host breakfast and bike service stations that will serve food and drinks to participants from 6:30 - 9 AM.
Last year, more than 5,000 people registered for Bike to Work Day alone, and organizers expect an even larger turnout this year for the main event. |

| Pearl Street Buffalo has a Name!
Thank you to Stephen Tebo for bringing the "Monarch of the Plains" buffalo sculpture to the Pearl Street Mall! By community vote, locals will lovingly refer to the statue as "Pearl", a name suggested by Downtown Boulder Facebook fan, Amanda C.
Special thanks to George Karakehian, JVA Consulting Engineers, Jake Puzio and Pine Construction, for their support. The statue was created by artist Stephen LeBlanc. |

| Boulder Farmers Markets Teach Seasonal Cooking with Demos
First Demonstration | Saturday, June 20 10AM - 11AM | Boulder Farmers Market
Join The Kitchen's executive chef, Kyle Mendenhall, when he kicks off the program this Saturday! First he will shop the market for fresh ingredients and then prepare seasonal dishes based on what he finds.
Learn to cook from the gurus of eating locally: Boulder chefs. The cooking demos will run weekly on Saturdays from June 20 through September 3rd and feature chefs from The Kitchen as well as other local restaurants.
