Boulder Startup Week is happening NOW through Friday, May 20. This free, five-day celebration of our community builds momentum and opportunity around entrepreneurship. It's led by local entrepreneurs and hosted in amazing spaces all around Boulder. Visit the schedule to find free events and panels to attend. (You must RSVP to attend.)

Don't miss Boulder Art Cinema's Hacker Fest this weekend with 2 showings of Sneakers. Learn more at BoulderArtCinema.org.

This year, BMOCA's MediaLive festival is presented in collaboration with Boulder Startup Week. It features nearly 20 international artists presenting on the current state of new art media.

Bands on the Bricks Starts June 1
 

Wednesdays, June 1 - August 3 | Beer Garden at 5:30PM, Concert at 7PM | 1300 block of Pearl

Bands on the Bricks kicks off its 19th season on Wednesday, June 1 with a performance by Euforquestra. A not-to-be-missed summer tradition with 10 weeks of free concerts. Enjoy performances from the best local musicians along the front range while dancing under the stars.

The outdoor beer/wine/margarita garden opens at 5:30PM every Wednesday night, featuring Rio Margaritas and a local brewery. This summer's brewery lineup includes: West Flanders (June) and Avery Brewing Company (July and August).

New Downtown Boulder Gift Card Design

New look, same gift card! We're excited to share the updated design of the Downtown Boulder Gift Card. Accepted at 200 downtown businesses, the card makes a great present for everyone on your list including co-workers, friends, family, teachers and coaches. The gift card is available in any denomination from $10 to $500.

Boulder Libation Passport on Sale

Boulder’s favorite pocket-sized black book full of drink specials at some of the best bars downtown returns May 27th. You can purchase the passport at Cured starting May 17. The program launches on May 27th and runs through September 5th. Each Passport is valid for one 2-for-1 special at each establishment. The program aims to help residents and visitors discover new, unique, independent local establishments.

Memorial Weekend Events

BolderBOULDER SportsEXHIBIT and 10k

America's All-Time Best 10K takes place on Monday, May 30. On Saturday and Sunday visit dozens of outdoor and fitness vendors on the Pearl Street Mall for the BolderBOULDER SportsEXHIBIT.

Boulder Creek Fest

This unofficial kickoff to summer in Boulder takes place Saturday, May 28 - Monday, May 30. The festival, which is held along the Boulder Creek corridor in Central Park (and beyond), features the signature rubber duck race, live music, food and more.

Closing Weekend

Boulder Art Cinema (BAC) will cease programming after this weekend's screenings due to a lower than anticipated weekly attendance. On Thursday (May 19), BAC will celebrate Boulder Startup Week with a showing of the documentary, "Code:Debugging the Gender Gap" at 7PM. Boulder Startup Week is offering free tickets to the screening but you must register in advance to attend (seating is limited).

On Friday and Saturday (May 20 & 21), BAC will show the 1992 cult classic "Sneakers" at 7PM. Tickets for "Sneakers" ($8) can be purchased online at the theater box office starting at 6PM.

Thank you to all of the BAC fans and volunteers who supported this endeavor. Moving forwrad, the Boulder Public Library will continue to offer occasional film programming. Visit the library's events calendar for specific program information.

Tebo Train

"All Aboard!" Calling all kiddos... enjoy a FREE ride on the Pearl Street Mall's Tebo Train starting Tuesday, May 31 (runs Monday - Thursday) through August. Children ages 10 and under (along with accompanying adults) will chug along Pearl Street in this one-of-a-kind experience.

The Tebo Train boards in front of Wells Fargo Bank at the corner of 13th and Pearl. Last train leaves the station at 11:15AM.
