Downtown Boulder’s premier summer music series, Bands on the Bricks kicked off last week, celebrating its 20th anniversary! In the approaching week, Last Men On Earth will be blessing the bricks on the 21st with a plethora of classic cuts from the 70s 80s and 90s. Personally, I am most excited to see this group perform! Coming out of Longmont, they have all the greats covered, from Queen to Jimmy Buffet and even Aerosmith. They will surely get the dancing dads fired up and school the youngsters on some timeless classics.
If that’s not your cup of tea, the Bricks will also be hosting performers of Latin Salsa, country, reggae and other genres! Watching the sun set and the stars litter the sky makes a vibrant backdrop for an epic rendition of live music in the heart of downtown Boulder!
The beer garden is an essential station at Bands on the Bricks, with The Rio, West Flanders (June 7 - July 5) and Avery Brewing (July 12 - August 9) catering to your thirst this summer. We’ve got Boulder’s finest suds and sweet margaritas to keep you cool and hydrated as you uncover those dance moves (responsibly). Come join us downtown for an evening filled with friends, good drinks and good music, Wednesday evenings. Beer/wine/margarita Garden opens at 5:30 pm and headliners take the stage at 7 pm.
