As the new intern, I’ll try my best to make my posts the most enjoyable part of your day. Following in the footsteps of the previous interns, I have read through their blog posts. Like Rebecca, learning of the possibility of being asked to model definitely took me by surprise and is a little terrifying. Answering the phones is the second most intimidating task (I apologize in advance if I accidentally hang up on anyone).
Spring semester is just beginning, and we are all looking forward to the sunny weather Boulder is known for. In the meantime, winter is finally beginning to show its face, so now is the perfect time to buy new snow gear. It’s better to be safe than sorry!
To prepare, I will be spotted downtown today, shopping for new snow gear. Here are just a few of the many options downtown:
- Patagonia for cozy hats & gloves!
- Volcom for boarding pants, of course.
- Billabong for a graphic hoodie.
- Zeal where I’ll get the latest snow goggles.
- Savvy because I need a new pair of Sorel boots.
- Golite- Have you tried their jackets?!
Besides being an intern at Downtown Boulder, I also happen to be an experienced shopper, so my advice is worth considering.
Bundle up and enjoy this winter weather in style. I know that I will!
