It is officially one of my favorite times in Boulder. The leaves are changing, chilly weather is upon us, and the best part is, not a lot of snow, yet. Another one of my favorite things about fall is the seasonal foods and drinks. Starbucks pumpkin spice latte and pumpkin bread are a classic favorite but Boulder has many more options as well.
Mountain Sun Brewery is tapping two pumpkin ales this weekend and Walnut Brewery also has an Ocktoberfest menu and brew on tap! Rueben’s Burger Bistro has begun Pumpkin Takeover featuring four seasonal brews on tap. If you’re looking to stay in and cook on one of these chilly nights I recommend picking up ingredients from the Boulder Farmers’ Market (through November 17th). The market is open on Saturdays and you can find fall favorites like sweet potatoes, carrots, pumpkins, winter squash and much more.
Autumn isn’t only about food though. The shops in Boulder are fully stocked with fall’s latest fashions like the adorable boots at Steve Madden, I can’t keep myself away from that store!
Halloween is the perfect way to cap off the beginning of the fall season and what better way to do that than with the Munchkin Masquerade on the 31st on Pearl. You’ll be able to see adorable Boulder little ones dressed up in their finest costumes.
