Yes, Downtown Boulder is open and ready for business! I am FINALLY happy to report that sunshine has made its way back to Boulder. My heart goes out to all those who have been and will continue to be affected by the flooding. In times like these we must stick together as a community and help rebuild what was lost.
On that note, several Downtown Boulder businesses are supporting the Foothills Relief Fund (a partnership between Foothills United Way and the Community Foundation of Boulder County) to help with relief efforts AND let people know that downtown is OPEN FOR BUSINESS. Participating downtown business have decided to give 10% of sales through September 22nd to the Foothills Flood Relief Fund.
Here are some of the businesses that will be participating: Art Source International, Art & Soul, Barbara & Company, Ben & Jerry’s, Boulder Bowls, Boulder Furniture Arts, Chantique, Classic Facets, Color Me Mine, Cured, Dragontree Spa, El Loro, Frasca Food & Wine, Hapa Sushi to name just a few! Check out the full list here: LoveTheLocal.com.
This is a perfect way for us to support our community in its time of need. Every little bit counts, and Downtown Boulder is committed to getting Boulder back on its feet.
My thoughts go out to all those in the Boulder community as well as surrounding areas.
Stay strong and resilient Boulder!
