15 is a great number, and although its significance is minimal in most daily activities, it takes on a superior role this Sunday at the ever popular Taste of Pearl. The third annual T.O.P. is just as the acronym suggests, top-notch. This is the crème of the crop, the premium potato, the cat’s pajamas if you will, of local cuisine and wine sampling. It is perfect for the person who does not like to limit their options with a four or five course meal, but instead wants to try a bit of everything and not feel bad about their indecisiveness. In a brief list, this is what you can expect from the event that knows quality:
1.) 15 retail stores and galleries will open their space to allow for 15 local restaurants and 15 Colorado wineries to offer up their finest pairings of creative cuisine and fine wine.
2.) Stroll casually along six blocks of the Pearl Street Mall, sampling, mingling and supporting the local and regional businesses.
3.) Additionally, all attendees will receive a savings card that can be used at 20 businesses on Pearl Street, giving all sorts of fantastic discounts to use through April 29.
If you missed out on tickets this year, then please take this time to mark your calendars for next March when the 2013 tickets will officially go on sale. For those of you who managed to get a ticket or two, I’ll be the one standing in the corner with the iPad, looking confused.
