Ahh the first day of Spring. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and the shorts are coming out. Spring in downtown means lots of strolling lunch breaks, iced coffees instead of hot lattes, and taking advantage of all the restaurant patios. It also means that the tulips are coming.
Take a walk down the mall today and check out the planter boxes. Buds of purple, green, yellow, and white are emerging with such perfection that it is possible to think they are fake. But that is not true, whatsoever. Let this be your first walk down the mall, and then make it a priority to come back once a week to see the growth process of Colorado’s largest tulip display. Next, mark your calendars for April 28, because the Tulip Fairy and Elf Parade will take over the bricks and mark the official beginning of Spring in downtown. Stay tuned for more information about how to take advantage of the Spring season. For now, take note of blossoming trees and send us your best Instagram photos.
