We rely on your commitment to participate - arriving on time for your scheduled shift is required. If your schedule must change, or if you have an emergency, please contact us immediately! Volunteers arriving late or failing to work their entire shift forfeit their event ticket.
Arrivals & Breaks
For all shifts, please check-in with Downtown Boulder staff at least 10 minutes before the start of your shift (a specific check-in location will be provided). Please make sure to check-in with your assigned supervisor when you need to take a break so that the Volunteer Coordinator can contact you if you're needed. Volunteers may not, under any circumstances, drink alcohol during their volunteer shift. You will have the opportunity to attend the event at the conclusion of your shift.
Volunteer opportunities include event set-up, event operations duties such as ice and water runs, and event check-in. All shifts are 4 hours long. Visit our Volunteer Local page to view each opportunity and sign-up. Please note: if you are volunteering for Event Set-Up you must be comfortable with lifting/carrying 50 lbs and being on your feet for 4 hours.
The Boulder Craft Beer Festival takes place outdoors in August - so make sure you bring a hat and a water bottle and wear plenty of sunscreen. A rain jacket may be needed as well - check the weather forecast before you head out!
