Boulder Opera is excited to host their first ever "Bar Hopping with Boulder Opera!"! This opera-bar-crawl is a new and innovative take on the timeless tradition of seeing a live classical music concert, but with a twist! The crawl is scheduled to visit specific bars at specific times, with a Boulder Opera singer ready to perform a ten minute set at every bar the crawl group visits.
The festivities begin at the Attic Bar & Bistro at 7pm, then the group will move to Centro Mexican Kitchen at 7:30pm, License No. 1 at 8pm, and the West End Tavern at 8:30pm. The program will feature Rossini, Puccini, Mozart, and previews for our spring double-bill production. Featured performers include Dianela Acosta, Elizabeth Hayes, and Mary Kettlewell. This event is free and open to the public, but Boulder Opera suggests donations of $10-$30 that can be made at the event or at www.boulderoperacompany.com/bar-hopping-with-boulder-opera.
