This class is designed for the new or returning sewer. Whether you’ve never used a sewing machine or you’re feeling a little rusty, you will learn to sew one standard size pillowcase in the class.

In addition to getting lots of practice sewing, students will learn how to thread a sewing machine, wind a bobbin, and the learn the technique of sewing French seams. All tools, white thread, and sewing machines are provided or choose to bring your own.

Materials: (you will receive a 15% discount on fabric purchased for up to two pillowcases, though you will make only one in class)

3/4 yard fabric for pillowcase body
1/3 yard of coordinating fabric for the band
3 inches for the accent strip
**Double this if you want to make a matching set of two standard pillowcases.
