LIOCO is the brainchild of Matt Licklider and Kevin O’Connor. Founded in 2005 while Licklider was in wine sales in California and O’Connor was wine director for Spago, their goal was to produce lighter, more nuanced wines from California as opposed to the heavy handed wines more popular of the time. Today, Matt Licklider and his wife Sara run LIOCO from their winery in Santa Rosa. They source fruit from exceptional sites in Sonoma, Mendocino and Santa Cruz. The wines are better and better each vintage and are without question balanced, delicious and old world in style. We are thrilled to kick off 2019 with Matt Licklider at Frasca. We will be pouring three great Lioco wines: Estero Russian River Chardonnay, “Sativa” Carignan, and Cerise Anderson Valley Pinot Noir.
