The pairing of meditation with yoga is lively, intimate and generous. Yoga and meditation together help us befriend our emotions, calm restlessness and meet change and difficulties with flexibility and a bigger perspective.

In this half-day workshop with Katharine Kaufman, you’ll practice gentle yoga sequences designed to support meditation. You’ll also practice the four postures of meditation and have discussion. Open to all levels. Feel free, whole and good.

Katharine Kaufman teaches yoga, meditation, poetry and contemplative movement arts in Boulder County and at Shambhala Mountain Center and is an adjunct professor at Naropa University. She studied in India and taught for many years at the Yoga Workshop and Studio Be in Boulder. She holds MFA degrees in Choreography/Performance and Writing/Poetics. Katharine is ordained in the Soto Zen lineage.
