Upon graduation, BSS students continue to have music in their lives whether they go on to study at premier conservatories, prepare to be teachers themselves, double major with another specialty or pursue an entirely different field. Teresa Storch and the Sharp Eleven
How does woman with a degree in Applied Physics become a nationally touring Singer/Songwriter? While studying engineering at the Colorado School of Mines she became obsessed with live music. One show at Red Rocks Amphitheater prompted her to admit aloud “I think need to do that!” The voice in her head just wouldn’t let go. In 2001, after getting laid-off from a job, she began busking in the Boston Subways, finally allowing herself to follow that voice.

VooDoo Kings
As one of the last of the analogue kids, Michael Kranicke, founder of VDK, grew up at a time when listening to music meant either FM Radio or Vinyl. Drinking in a Rock & Roll brew laced with harmony and melody, Michael honed his guitar skills with a myriad of bands. With VDK…, hundreds of shows and thousands of miles over more than a decade produced numerous moments laced with applause, laughter, cheers and critical acclaim. The single, “When I See Her” from ‘American Lights’, was featured in the motion picture “Deal” starring Burt Reynolds and produced by Seven Arts Pictures / MGM.

The Raygunomics
The Raygunomics were formed in August of 2008 to bring a new voice to great 80′s-era music (and now going beyond the 80′s!!!). The members bring a TON of original band experience to the group, as well as the professionalism and work-ethic of a veteran project. Their goal is to play and entertain, sharing a love for all the popular music they listened to (and were influenced by) growing up, including all of your favorites as well as those “rare gems” the retro radio shows and DJs seem to forget!

Many Mountains
Many Mountains is a Folk Rock group from the Front Range of Colorado. The band is fronted by Katie Rose & Dustin Moran who have been playing music together for half a decade. In early 2014, their motivations led them to focus on creating as Many Mountains. Their music tells stories of hard truths, self contemplation, and a longing to shed light on the unknown. Swooning vocal harmonies are sang often, over swelling slide guitar, and to the point rhythms. The listener may be moved to question ideas they thought were set in stone. Might Many Mountains change your way of thinking?.
