Category: Press Room

This year’s annual fall fashion runway show takes place Saturday,  September 26 at 2 p.m. on the Pearl Street Mall

BOULDER, COLORADO [September 18, 2015]  This year’s annual Fashion's Night Downtown (FND) Boulder event that spotlights downtown’s vibrant retail scene will take place on Saturday, September 26. The event will kick off at 2 p.m. with a runway fashion show on the Pearl Street Mall in front of the Boulder County Courthouse fountain.

More than 20 downtown retailers will join forces to highlight fall fashion trends with a free runway fashion show emceed by Boulder’s own Ryan Van Duzer.  Models from The Ritz will provide a memorable finale. Immediately following the 30 minute runway show, retailers will host in-store special events happening throughout the district.

Fashionistas of all ages will find exciting events from exclusive promotions and giveaways, music, entertainment, trunk shows and more.  In addition to seasoned FND participating  retailers like Starr’s Clothing Co., Barbara & Company, Weekends & Savvy on Pearl, this year’s event also highlights some of downtown’s newest stores including Ragstock and Sherpani. A complete list of participating businesses can be found online at FNDBoulder.com.

“For the past four years, we held this event on Thursday evenings in early September,” said Anna Salim, Downtown Boulder’s Event Director. “This year, we wanted the event to be front and center on a Saturday afternoon - that way in addition to all the people who come down specifically for the event, we’ll also capture a nice weekend crowd who might not have heard about it ahead of time.”

FND Boulder is supported by the Downtown Boulder Business Improvement District, City of Boulder Parking Services and the Daily Camera.
