"The name has many applications. It basically means 'for me' so you can use it in a bunch of different contexts. We recently had a visiting French woman tell us her favorite application of the phrase. She uses PMG to describe the experience when you are at a tasting and you don't want to spit the wine out because it is so good."
"PMG is the type of place that I would want to go. I just didn't feel like what I was looking for existed so I thought maybe I should do it."
"Wine is supposed to go with food. I love eating and I love food. The point is to come, hang out, be happy, and enjoy good things in whatever way works for you."
"I feel like Sal [the chef] and I have similar ideas about how we want to encourage people to have shared experiences- not just sitting at a table together but eating and drinking the same things as well."
"I did most of the decorating. I was whatever I had to be. My best friend from high school's dad is a contractor so he did some work on the kitchen. We painted everything ourselves and all of the art is from friends and family. My sister made the cork art behind the bar."
"The people here are amazing. All levels of the community have been really supportive and friendly. Since I grew up in Boulder, I know a lot of people already and they have been wonderful. The downtown community is great, specifically the West End. A lot of our regulars are people who work in the building or within a couple of blocks."
