Michele Rittgers is the Director of Sales and Marketing at the legendary Hotel Boulderado. The historic hotel is located in the heart of downtown Boulder, just steps away from some of the best shopping, dining and entertainment in town!
My friends and I keep such busy schedules that getting a day to spend to together tough, but we try to make time at least once a month. I love to show how pretty and fun Boulder is, while introducing my friends to my favorite indulgent spots.
They say breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day (especially if it includes a mimosa or two). To start the day off right, we will actually stop by Spruce Farm & Fish for brunch (plus I get to check and see how things are going at the hotel before I head out on my day off). Once we had our fill of food and laughter, we’ll cross the street to the Rembrandt Yard and take in local art at their galleries on both the 2nd and 3rd floors.
Now, it’s time to shop! Peppercorn is my favorite spot to find something unique for everyone on your list! Then we’ll head across the street to Weekends, a staple clothing store on the Pearl Street Mall! From there it’s a quick walk over to the East End to The Dragontree Spa to get pampered! There are few things more relaxing that an afternoon mani/pedi.
Last but not least we drop into OAK at fourteenth for a few appetizers, a glass of wine and some laughs before calling it a day!
Boulder to me is full of life, amazing experiences and some of the most wonderful people I have ever met!
