Kidding Around with Clothes Pony & Dandelion Toys
Sisters, Becca and Jenny, opened their first Clothes Pony & Dandelion Toys store in 2003 in Old Town Fort Collins. Fifteen years later they wanted to share their community-focused mission of spreading joy and delight with the families of Boulder, where the sisters have strong family connections. "Come in, play with everything, and make a mess" is their philosophy of doing business. The business of having fun while finding thoughtfully chosen toys, comfy and beautiful kids clothes, and high-quality children's shoes.
Heading out for the day with your wild & wonderful kids, we would start at Lolita's which looks like a little grocery but contains the best kept secret in town--all the way at the back of the store you will find the tastiest sandwiches in town, whipped up fast and fresh. Grab some fruit, chips and a drink and you are ready for picnic at your favorite spot along the Boulder Creek path.
After your nature walk, and maybe a bit of splashing, it is time for a visit to the Boulder Public Library, which was just called out for having the best Teen Corner of any library in Colorado but also caters to the little ones with story time and general wonderfulness. Venturing on, you'll walk past our little home, super kid-friendly Clothes Pony & Dandelion Toys, on your way to, either Piece, Love & Chocolate for a hot cocoa or a tiny & perfect, truffle treat, or, if your looking for a lighter treat, to Wonder for an organic smoothie or fresh-pressed juice.
