John Schopbach just happens to be one of the most stylish business owners downtown, which isn't surprising since he owns one of the most stylish businesses on the Mall...Weekends! As Weekend's owner and lead buyer, John has made the store a staple on the Pearl Street Mall since 1990. John is a huge part of the downtown community serving on the Downtown Boulder Partnership Board of Directors. He's known for his outstanding customer service and of course, his outstanding STYLE.

I would start with a night at the St Julien Hotel complete with a visit to their spa for me and my wife. A night at the St Julien is the perfect "stay-cation." After an early morning bike ride up one of the canyons we would meet at Snooze for some of their benedicts and famous pancakes. Then I would walk over to Rocky Mountain Anglers where they have the best selection of flies and helpful local knowledge of what's happening on Boulder Creek. I would spend a few hours fly fishing the creek. The best spot is just up from the library.

After lunch I would take a walk up to University Bikes to check out some new gear.

Our favorite dinner in downtown Boulder is OAK. We like to sit at the cook's bar so we can see them cooking on the fire. They have some of the best cocktails and comfortable atmosphere, plus everything on the menu is delicious so you can't go wrong!

After a relaxing night at the St Julien we would end our stay-cation with brunch at Mateo. We've loved dinner at this restaurant for years and enjoy their brunch just as much!
