Rodríguez-Vega Harp & Flute Duo @ First Congregational

Do not miss this recital! The virtuosity of harpist Lizary Rodríguez and flutist Gina Vega, known as the “Rodríguez-Vega Duo”, embraces the heavenly sounds of classical music and the vibrancy of Latin American songs!  This dynamic duo combines the works of Bach, Ibert, Inghelbert and Donizetti with cleverly arranged pieces for harp and flute from Piazzolla, Alvarez and Fernández.  It promises to be an excellent afternoon of great music!  The recital will take place at the First Congregational Church located 1128 Pine Street, Boulder, CO 80302, Sunday, November 18, 2007 at 4:00 PM.  This Boulder based duo has been selected to participate at The 2nd Iberian Contest of Chamber Music with Harp which will be held in Madrid, Spain from 14th to 17th February 2008.  All of the proceeds of the recital will go directly to helping with the cost of the duo’s travel expenses.
