The Champagne Chair Tour 2008 @ Design Within Reach

The annual DWR Champagne Chair Contest™ has come to a frenzied finale. The 50 winning chairs have been announced and are on a nation-wide tour, stopping at select Studios. Contest entrants were asked to create an original miniature design using only the foil, label, cage and cork from no more than two Champagne bottles. The Chairs were reviewed by an esteemed panel of designers and judged on craftsmanship, creativity, character and innovative use of materials. Please join us in toasting the talent and maybe filing a few ideas for submitting the winning entry next year. Refreshments will be served.
