Downtown is the perfect place for my friends and I to have a girls’ day. We love to head downtown to explore the shops, soak up the beautiful weather, and enjoy delicious dining and drinks.
Our first stop has to be Brasserie Ten Ten for brunch. This bustling, elegant restaurant with French-inspired cuisine has the most incredible brunch menu. We almost always order mimosas or bellinis to kick things off. Our go to orders include the steak frites, any of the sweet or savory crepes on the menu, or the benedict! You seriously can’t go wrong with unique menu at Brasserie’s brunch!
After brunch we like to walk around and explore the shops downtown. One of my current favorite shops is Elison Rd., they have great staple items for fall and cozy winter sweaters for the upcoming cold months. After looking through the racks at Elison Rd. we love to head over to the West End to stop into Shoe Fly for their boot selection! I can’t seem to go into Shoe Fly without buying something, everything they have is so cute! After checking out Shoe Fly we usually head over to Urban Outfitters. My friends and I also love checking out new finds at Free People and Freebird for some amazing boho pieces to add to our wardrobes.
After we have shopped our hearts out and walked up and down the bricks a few times we are usually all in need of a drink! Our favorite happy hour spot to hit is Centro. They have great happy hour deals like $5 coin margaritas. These refreshing cocktails are the perfect pre dinner drink! Centro is both delicious and very affordable check out their amazing queso and delicious tacos!
Once we have enjoyed one of the best margaritas downtown we like to head over to The Med for dinner. The Med offers delicious tapas inspired by Italian, Spanish, French and Greek cuisine. My friends and I love to go to the Med because there is something for everyone here! Usually we order a bunch of tapas and share them or sometimes opt for ordering our own entrees. My go tos at The Med are the spanakopita, the burrata caprese, the bolognese or the seafood puttanesca! My friends’ favorites are the paella and the margarita pizza.
Our favorite way to end our girls’ day out is dancing at Tahona which has DJ dance nights every Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights! Another fun Saturday night activity my friends and I enjoy going to is karaoke at Sushi Zanmai, which happens every Saturday from 10 pm to Midnight.
My friends and I love to head downtown to spend the day together, we always have the most amazing time and find things that everyone will enjoy, that is what is so special about downtown Boulder there is something for everyone!
