City of Boulder Eco Pass
 

 

Businesses within the CAGID and/or BID area tax district, with at least a 6 month commercial lease, are included in the City off Boulder Parking Services FREE downtown employee EcoPass program.

The City of Boulder Parking Services will distribute Eco Pass Smart Cards for full-time employees in downtown Boulder at the Downtown Boulder Information Center located on the corner of 13th and Pearl Street, during the following days and times:

  • Monday: Noon - 4 p.m. (Closed on City of Boulder holidays). Please note that City of Boulder and RTD holidays may not coincide. During Presidents’ Day and Veterans’ Day, the City of Boulder is on holiday schedule and no Eco Pass hours are offered.
There will be no Eco Pass hours the week of December 22-29, 2014
 
EcoPass photos at RTD will not be taken on New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. If one of these holidays falls on a Monday, photos will be taken on Tuesday and the City of Boulder will hold Eco Pass hours simultaneously.

Downtown Eco Passes are provided only to full-time employees working for businesses within the Central Area General Improvement District (CAGID) or within the Downtown Boulder Business Improvement District (DBBID).  Part-time, temporary, contract and current CU students are not eligible for the CAGID/DBBID Eco Pass program.

To receive a 2014 Eco Pass Smart Card, every eligible employee must present a government- issued photo identification and a completed and signed Employee Authorization Form supplied by eligible employers
