Italian Classes

One of our good friends, Anna Pelà  is an excellent Italian teacher who will teach a series of 4 classes on Thursday nights, beginning September 10 at 6:30.  We will limit each class to only 8 students so that everyone has a chance to fully participate.  Each class will focus on a different region of Italy (to include Piemonte, Emilia-Romagna, Sicilia and Veneto), with Anna teaching the language and culture, and Guillermo teaching about the food.  During these classes you will learn speaking skills for a variety of situations! We will begin with the essentials of pronunciation, develop vocabulary and learn crucial phrases and idioms needed for everyday communication.  Cost is $140 for the series, which includes a 3-course meal and the lesson each week.  Beverages are not included, although Guillermo will be happy to make recommendations.
 
Anna is a native of Torino, Italy and has lived in Boulder for 25 years. Anna has taught Italian in private schools and universities in England and Colorado. She also teaches cross-cultural classes to employees sent to Italy on work assignments.  There is no book requirement, but a supply and material list will be provided at the first meeting.
