Wednesday Night Kicks off Bands on the Bricks 18th Season

Downtown Boulder’s Bands on the Bricks is back for a ten week free concert series on the Pearl Street Mall
 

[BOULDER, CO] June 9, 2015 – Tomorrow (June 10th), Downtown Boulder, Inc.’s (DBI) Bands on the Bricks kicks off its 18th season with a performance by Last Men on Earth - one of Northern Colorado's newest live rock bands, playing a mixture of classic cuts from the 70's, 80's, 90's and beyond. The concert starts at 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public.  

The 2015 lineup includes crowd favorites like the Hazel Miller Band and That Eighties Band and also welcomes some groups that are new to Bands on the Bricks including The Long Run and Chain Station.  On July 29th, IRONMAN Boulder is co-hosting a special concert by Colorado’s one and only The Samples.  This concert is a ‘welcome’ event for IRONMAN Boulder participants, families and friends.  (The second annual IRONMAN Boulder takes place August 2nd.)

The Downtown Boulder Beer, Wine & Margarita Garden will open each week at 5:30 p.m. on the 1300 block.  Celebrating its sixth season, the garden welcomes guests 21 years and older with $8 Rio Margaritas (3 drink limit per person) and local craft breweries serving up $5 beers (June/Shine, July/Avery, August/West Flanders).
