Bands on the BricksFrom oldies to alternative and everything in between, Bands on the Bricks is Boulder County's premier outdoor summer concert series taking place in the heart of the city on the bricks of the one-and-only Pearl Street Mall. A not-to-be-missed summer tradition with 10 weeks of free concerts. Enjoy performances from the best local musicians along the front range while dancing under the stars.

Featuring an outdoor beer/wine/margarita garden starting at 5:30 pm every Wednesday night, featuring T/ACO and a local brewery.

Hazel Miller Band

Opening Act: Cara Keyser

Hazel Miller is not just a great singer, “she is a force of nature!” quotes the Rocky Mountain News. Her voice has been called “stunning, moving and powerful.” Hazel has been a sought after performer in Colorado for the past 24 years. Whether she is singing blues, jazz, pop, or Gospel, her voice charges the songs with a primal dose of genuine soul.

Bonnie and the Clydes

Opening Act: Derek DeMuth

Bonnie & the Clydes are one of the foremost Front Range bands, pioneering their unique sound of Rocky Mountain Country Soul. Fronted by the fiery Bonnie Sims, this band has been making waves with powerful and memorable live performances for the past nine years.

Opening Act: Famous Men

The Sweet Lillies’ high-energy, melodic tunes have quickly captured the hearts of fans in Colorado and beyond. The band, formed in November of 2013, credits its appeal to the original and compelling songwriting of three women who share an unwavering commitment to life on the road. The magnetic combination of Julie Gussaroff on the upright bass, Becca Bisque on the viola, and Melly Frances on percussion and lead vocals – together with powerful three-part female harmony and a cast of exciting instrumentalists – gives this band a rare and alluring sound.

Policulture

Opening Act: Lisa Selle

Policulture is the Original Mountain Reggae band from Boulder, CO. Policulture emanates heavy drum and bass with a roots rhythm, melodic horn section, and conscious lyrics. Forming in 2010 the band developed a contemporary reggae sound that is shaped by their upbringing and surrounding environment. With an understanding that music undoubtedly has the power to change the world, Policulture advocates a perspective of positivity and achievability in their music. Inspired by the tradition of roots reggae music, along with the current movement of modern roots reggae, the band is honored to have shared the stage with international touring acts including; The Wailers, Jimmy Cliff, SOJA, Rebelution, John Brown’s Body and many more.

Jamiroqueen

Opening Act: Professor Fox Band

Jamiroqueen is a tribute to Jamiroquai, the world famous British band releasing number one hits since the 1990's (recall the guy with the hat on the moving floor and the infamous dance scene from Napoleon Dynamite). Fronted by a charismatic and shamanistic woman who leads the way with her voice and stage presence, Jamiroqueen does the disco funk genre justice by churning out hits that keep audiences dancing through the night, spellbound by the catchy melodies and virtuoso performances of the band. Bring your dancing shoes!

Opening Act: David Coilie

Colorado’s Mile High Mountain Funk connection is a high-energy, 8 piece Funk-Soul ensemble based out of the Boulder-Denver Metro area. Driving deep pocket grooves, killer harmonies, accompanied with one of the most stellar brass sections on the scene, the band brings the rootsy funk from Detroit to New Orleans. Grab on and get down with the high-altitude, funky beats of Groove a Licious, delivering all the ingredients to light up the night with booty shakin’ for a guaranteed party celebration.
