Downtown Boulder… Will You Accept This Rose?

Category: Boulder Blog

Post Date: Monday, July 29, 2019

I am someone that loves reality television, and one of my favorite shows to watch is The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. If you have been watching this season of The Bachelorette, you know this has been a top notch season. Chris Harrison was not lying when he said this was the “most dramatic season yet.” The finale is this week and I am so eager to see who Hannah will give the final rose to. To prepare for this monumental television event, you need to stop by some downtown Boulder shops to get some Bachelorette essentials.

A Bachelorette watch party would not be complete without delicious food and beverages. Cured is the place to go to get your goodies. Cured offers excellent customizable cheese and charcuterie plates, as well as bottles of wine that will make you and your friends feel super classy. These snacks and drinks will make your watch party one to remember!

Say what you want about Luke P., but it is undeniable that he made this season incredibly entertaining. If you follow him on Instagram, then you know that his mother owns a store right here in downtown Boulder! JONES + CO Modern Mercantile is Luke P.’s mom’s adorable shop on the East End. Browse this shop to find beautiful pieces of jewelry, clothing, homegoods, and more! No matter what your feelings are towards Luke P. or the Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise, I think we can all agree that Jones + CO Modern Mercantile is a terrifical local business that carries phenomenal products!

If you are thinking about going on the next season of The Bachelor or The Bachelorette, a thing you must consider are the outfits you plan on wearing. Shop at Island Farm to find casual, yet chic clothes for when you undoubtedly go to a tropical destination. To show off your style on group dates, make sure you have some statement pieces from Haven. For both women and men looking to be contestants on the show, you cannot go wrong with shopping at Weekends for contemporary casual clothing and footwear. It is questionable whether or not you will find love on the show, but one thing that is certain is that you will look super fashionable while supporting local business.

I hope all you Bachelorette fans enjoyed reading ways you can enhance your watching experience while also exploring downtown shops. This has been an amazing season and I am beyond excited to see who Hannah chooses! Team Tyler C. all the way!

Best,

Intern Sally
