Hi Downtown,

Who’s Ready for Fall Fest?

The past few weeks have personally been stressful with school starting. I’m sure there’s many of you out there feeling the stress of  students in your household starting school again as well. I have a great idea for a stress buster for your entire family... Fall Fest has come to the rescue for everyone!

This year's Fall Fest is being held September 10-12 and has something for art, music and beer lovers to enjoy, not to mention some pretty awesome family/children activities! On Friday, September 10, the Fest runs from 5pm-9pm, Saturday, September 11, 10am-9:30pm and on Sunday, September 12, 10am-5pm.

Let’s take a look at some of the highlights happening this weekend. There will be live music featuring twelve performers from all around Colorado! Some that I’m interested in seeing perform are Foxfeather, Titonic and School of House Rock Band. There’s performances all weekend, so you won’t miss out! Do you love browsing and shopping goods from local artisans as much as I do? Then the Firefly Handmade Market is the place for you! They will have jewelers, potters and even dog treat bakers! If you have children or are looking for family friendly events, Fall Fest has you covered! There’s free dance lessons, arts & crafts, family yoga, a cruiser-ride and plenty of activities along the Pearl Street Mall to keep those young and young at heart entertained. And, it wouldn’t be a festival without food and drinks. The beer garden will feature brews from Avery Brewing Company, T/ACO margaritas and there will be some wine options as well. There will be food from Mall cart vendors including: Boulder Bowls, Chiri’s Momo Delights and McDevitt Taco Supply, Kingcomo Quesadillas and more! Lastly, the Buffaloes of Boulder auction ends on September 12 at 5pm - bid on a buffalo here before the auction ends!  Remember - parking is free on Saturdays and Sundays (and holidays!) in the City of Boulder Parking Garages! Please note that pets are not allowed on the Pearl Street Mall - leave your furry family members at home where they are safe and sound - out of the heat and stressful environment of crowds! We recommend having a face covering on hand and masking up when social distancing is not possible.  While it’s not something that we want to do, we hope that coming together as a community to stop the spread will get us back to normal that much faster!

I’m looking forward to spending some time outside, in the sun, with music, food and more to kick off this fall season! I hope everyone is able to stop by and enjoy this year’s Fall Fest too!

Until next time,

Cash
