Hey Downtown!

It’s officially Halloween season and downtown Boulder has plenty to do to celebrate! Let’s get into all the spooky celebrations!

This Tuesday, October 31st from 3 - 6 pm, the Munchkin Masquerade is back! Downtown Boulder will be invaded by tiny ghosts & goblins, dinosaurs & dragons, fairies & princes, superheroes and animals of every size trick-or-treating along Pearl Street. This event is recommended for children ages 12 and under. Map out your trick-or-treating route by checking out the participating businesses' treat stop map!

Colorado Glass Works is hosting Spooky Stained Glass Date Nights on Saturday, October 28th and Tuesday, October 31st! Join them for a super spooky date in a Halloween-themed class. Looking to switch out your average date night for an unforgettable experience? Spend the evening making a pre-chosen stained glass piece with a partner or friend that you get to take home with you. Colorado Glass Works supplies all the materials needed, so all you need is to bring your date and have fun! The event is from 6:30-8 p.m. and the $175 cost of the class covers 2 people! Be sure to sign up!

Food Lab is having a Kids’ Halloween Workshop on Saturday, October 28th. Drop the kids off at Food Lab for a morning of special Halloween-themed treats! They'll even bring some home to share. The kids will learn how to make Mini Take & Bake Pumpkin Pies. Spooky Rice Krispie Treats, Mummy breadsticks with red pepper eyes and Hot Apple Cider. Be sure to enroll in the class for some Halloween fun!

Looking to get active this Halloween? Join Yoga Pearl on Tuesday, October 31st for a Halloween FunFlow. This music-driven flow class is just what you need to get your Halloween started right. This class is an all-level class and feel free to come in a costume for more fun! Sign up for a spot in the class!

The Museum of Boulder is celebrating the spooky season with a Halloween Dance Class on the Rooftop with Parks & Rec. on October 28th from 9 am-to 10 am. They will be mixing Zumba® and LaBlast® Fitness for anyone who needs a fun, safe, effective workout without the high impact. Take a musical trip around the world with easy-to-follow choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion, flexibility, and coordination. Come ready to sweat and prepare to leave empowered and feeling strong! Absolutely no dance background is required. Stop by the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art now until October 28th for their Día de los Muertos Community Installation! BMoCA welcomes you to celebrate and honor the memories of our ancestors and loved ones with an installation of ofrendas, each made by a local community group in partnership with the museum. Join them this Saturday for a night of fun for the entire family, including a musical performance by Mariachi Los Mensajeros, Folkloríco dance by Sabor de América and traditional foods. Come “witch” Two Hands Paperie a happy birthday at their anniversary party on October 28th from 10 am-6 pm. There will be giveaways, art for sale by the talented THP staff, a Tattly temporary tattoo station, a fortune teller station, demos with Boulder Color’s custom 30th-anniversary watercolor palette and cake! The Sophomore is hosting a Halloween Movie Celebration on October 31st from 11am-close! Head in to enjoy Halloween movies and delicious foods and drinks.
