Welcome to the HEART of downtown...

Category: Boulder Blog

Depending on how you decide to celebrate Valentine’s Day, downtown has an event for everyone to enjoy. For me, Valentine's Day is the perfect time to appreciate those you love a little extra…

If you want the perfect Valentine's gift and experience for your loved ones, reserve tickets for Downtown's Taste of Pearl event. On Sunday, April 14th, experience Colorado’s fine wineries and distilleries accompanied by delicious food and retail on a day throughout Pearl St. General admission and VIP tickets are available here, this exclusive event is expected to sell out, be sure to reserve your tickets.

Life is always better with my BFFs…and what better way to celebrate Galentine's day than with my gals? On the 13th, Beatrice The Divine is hosting a wine and chocolate girls night from 4:00-6:00 pm. The New Local Gallery is also having a FREE Galentine’s event of shopping and mocktails from 5:00-6:00 pm. They will have gorgeous jewelry to try on, botanicals to try out and beautiful flowers from their stem bar. If you are over eighteen years old, bring your best gals and sign up for this fun event!

If gift-giving is your love language, Valentine's is a great holiday to shop for jewelry. Now through February 14th, check out Art and Soul’s Valentine’s Day Trunk Show featuring Robin Haley Jewelry’s gold and diamond collection. This event includes complimentary gift wrapping and a few sweet macaroons.

The Museum of Boulder has everything you need for an at-home, crafty date night. Stop by for one of their pre-made Vintage Valentine’s kits for $10 (or free with a membership) while they're open until the 14th. This is a special way to hand-make a meaningful gift with a unique historic twist! No sign-up is required, but there are limited kits so check out their website for more information.

Hawaii Fluid Art is also celebrating with a crafty event. Starting tomorrow, February 13th through February 16th, Hawaii Fluid Art is hosting a Valentine's week couples class at their studio. From 5:30-6:30 pm, couples can learn to make personalized wine cups and collaborate on a charcuterie board for $80. The event includes one complimentary glass of wine and snacks  - feel free to bring your own drinks as well. Bring your valentine and make sure to reserve your tickets for this event - there is limited space.

If you are an acrobat like me, who also loves relaxation, try Valentine's Partner Yoga at Yoga Pearl. On Saturday, February 17th, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm, join Lori and Sunshine for an exciting yoga lesson with your Valentine/Galentine ($45). Make sure to sign up to reserve a spot!

Combine Thirsty Thursday with this fantastic week of love, bring your best pals to Avanti’s Palentine’s Party happening this Thursday, the 15th. Celebrate the beauty of platonic love with specialty cocktails, love songs and romantic movies, a costume contest and an all-night happy hour!

Until next time,

Katie
