Where can I buy a ticket?
Tickets can be purchased right here beginning Tuesday, May 28 through 11:00 am on Saturday, August 24, or until sold out. Please note the event sold out in its first five years, so we recommend purchasing tickets early.
On Saturday, August 24, if any General Admission or VIP tickets remain, they will be available for purchase at an increased rate onsite. Designated Driver tickets must be purchased online in advance (they will not be available on the day of the event). For online purchases your tickets will be emailed to you. Bring your tickets to Event Check-In on the west side of 9th St. at Balsam Ave. in North Boulder Park along with valid photo ID for everyone in your party. No one will be admitted to the event without a valid photo ID.
Gates open to VIP ticket holders at 11:30 am, beer starts pouring at 12 pm. Check-in for General Admission ticket holders begins at 12:30 pm, gates open at 1 pm. To purchase tickets, get in line with all of the ticket holders and you will be directed to the new tickets sales person when you reach the front of the line. Only Credit Card payments will be accepted on-site. General admission tickets will be $45.00 and VIP tickets will be $60.00 the day of the event. Please Note: Designated Driver tickets will NOT be available for purchase the day of the event. They must be purchased online in advance. Visit the ticket page after 11:00 am on August 24th for day of ticket information. We will do our best to update this page if and when the event sells out.
Do you sell a Designated Driver ticket?
Yes, for $10.00. This ticket includes non-alcoholic beverages and a food voucher good for $10 at any of the food vendors at the event. Purchase them online.
Please Note: These tickets must be purchased online in advance, they will NOT be available for purchase the day of the event.
What does my ticket include?
General Admission: Your ticket includes a commemorative tasting glass and unlimited beer samples from 30 breweries*. Check-in begins at 12:30 pm, but gates do not open until 1 pm.
VIP: Your ticket includes all the benefits of the General Admission ticket plus, VIP early access (check-in at 11:30 am, beer starts pouring at 12 pm), pours of specialty beers from participating breweries, and a limited edition t-shirt.
Designated Driver: Your ticket provides non-alcoholic beverages and food voucher good for $10 at any of the food vendors at the event.
GA and DD + Yoga Class: A limited number of General Admission and Designated Driver Tickets include a FREE yoga class. Check-in for these ticket holders begins at 11:30 am. The yoga class will be held right outside of the event area near event check-in beginning at 12 pm. Gates are at 1 pm. Yoga attendees should bring a yoga mat to use if desired.
Where do I pick up my ticket?
You will receive an email confirmation with your tickets attached when you purchase tickets. Everyone must check-in when arriving at the event. Event Check-In will open at 11:30 am for VIP and Designated Driver ticket holders and 12:30 pm for general admission ticket holders on Saturday, August 24th on the west side of 9th St. at Balsam Ave. in North Boulder Park. Bring your tickets along with valid photo ID for everyone in your party. No one will be admitted without a valid photo ID.

Can I have my ticket sent to me?
You will receive an email confirmation with your tickets attached when you purchase tickets online. You may bring either a print out of your tickets or electronic tickets to Event Check-In, but all ticket holders must present their ticket(s) at Event Check-In and show valid photo ID on the day of the event beginning at 11:30 am for VIP and Designated Driver ticket holders, and 12:30 pm for General Admission ticket holders (gates at 1 pm). No one will be admitted without a valid photo ID.
Can I buy a ticket day of?
Event organizers are anticipating a pre-event sell out. Onsite ticket availability will not be announced until Saturday, August 24th after 11:00 am. Please note: a limited number of tickets are available, and the event sold out in its first four years, so we suggest buying tickets ahead of time. Should General Admission and VIP tickets be available you may purchase them onsite, but the General Admission ticket price will increase to $45.00 and the VIP ticket price will increase to $60.00. Designated Driver tickets will NOT be available for purchase the day of the event. They must be purchased online and in advance. Onsite tickets, if available, will go on sale at 11:30 am on Saturday, August 24th at Event Check-In on the northwest corner of 9th St. & Balsam Ave. in North Boulder Park. Gates for VIPs are at 11:30 am, but gates do not open for General Admission ticket holders until 1 pm. Visit the ticket page on the website for availability information. Only credit card payments will be accepted on-site.
I can't use my ticket - can I give/sell it to my friend?
At Event Check-In we will be looking for a valid ticket (with an unused barcode) and a valid photo ID. If you are unable to use your ticket, feel free to give/sell it to your friend and just make sure they bring these items (and are, of course, over 21 if they are expecting to drink beer).
I have a Designated Driver ticket do I need my ID?
Yes, it is our policy that everyone must present a valid photo ID to enter the festival. Drivers are required by law to have their driver's license with them while driving.
Can I buy event merchandise at the event?
Yes limited edition event merchandise will be available at the event.
Is there a map of the event area?

Can I bring my pet?
No, due to safety concerns pets are not allowed.
Can I bring my children/baby?
Yes, we have no restrictions on babies/children at the event. Please keep in mind, however, that this is not an event for children, and all activities are adult-focused.
Do I need to purchase a ticket for my children?
No. Young children are welcome to join their parents at the event without the purchase of a ticket. Anyone over the age of 16 should purchase a designated driver's ticket to attend.
Who hosts the event?
The Boulder Craft Beer Festival is produced by the Downtown Boulder Foundation, a charitable 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization (part of the Downtown Boulder Partnership), dedicated to maintaining downtown Boulder as the heart and soul of our community. Our staff and volunteers produce over two dozen annual events focused on arts, culture, family entertainment and supporting local business. From fine arts to free concerts on the Pearl Street Mall, DBF events draw nearly 250,000 people downtown every year. We also support other community events that enhance downtown including the Boulder International Film Festival, the Pearl Street Stampedes and the Adventure Film Festival.
Can I buy a full beer?
Full beers are not available for purchase at the Boulder Craft Beer Festival; however there are many great restaurants in nearby downtown where you can enjoy a full beer and dinner after the festival!
Is re-entry allowed?
Re-entry is allowed as long as you keep your wristband on and your tasting glass with you.
What is the smoking policy?
No smoking is allowed in the park per City of Boulder ordinance. City of Boulder police will be present at the event and may ticket anyone who is smoking.

How many people do you expect to attend?
We expect 2,500 people to attend the 6th Annual Boulder Craft Beer Festival.
Will there be food?
There will be food available for purchase from some of Boulder’s best food trucks - read about their offerings. Designated drivers will receive a $10.00 food voucher that is good with any of the participating food vendors.

Can I bring beer to trade?
No outside alcohol is permitted.
Is there free parking?
Please be courteous to our festival neighbors and do not park in the neighborhood streets adjacent to North Boulder Park.
Parking is available in the 2655 Broadway parking structure located on the southwest corner of Broadway and Alpine Avenue. Less than a mile a way, Downtown Boulder is home to six parking structures and five parking lots, along with on-street metered spaces -- over 4,000 parking spaces! Parking in City of Boulder Garages is FREE on Saturdays and Sundays year round. North Boulder Park is a short SKIP ride away from downtown.
After the event (from 4:30 - 5:30 pm), a Buff Bus will be making loops from North Boulder Park to the west side of Pearl Street for those wishing to go to downtown after the event.
Where can I park my bike?
There will be a bike valet onsite - Boulder B-cycle's friendly team will gladly valet your sweet 2-wheel ride in a secure bike valet lot right there on festival grounds. After you're done, your suggested donation of $1 per bike will support the continued operation of Boulder's nonprofit bike share program.
Will there be entertainment?
Yes, Part and Parcel will perform from 12:30 - 2:30 pm and Foxfeather will perform from 3:00 - 5:00 pm. Listen to samples of their music.
What if I buy a ticket but am unable to make it?
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. You may sell or give your ticket to a friend.
What if it rains?
The Boulder Craft Beer Festival will not be canceled in the event of inclement weather. Tickets are non-refundable.
I purchased my tickets, but I didn't get a confirmation - what should I do?
Our confirmation email may have been caught by your spam filter. Please contact our Event Department and we will re-send it.
Will there be shade?
While natural shade is limited there will be a number of tables and chairs set-up under shade tents.
What should I bring with me?
A hat, sunscreen, reusable water bottle, your ticket, and ID. There is food for purchase at the event, so don't forget cash and/or credit card. Check out our blog post from 2015 for some other good ideas.
