Tara Performing Arts High School’s Christmas Candlelight Festival has become a beloved Boulder event, reaching far beyond the school community. Tara’s choir prepares a major work – the Mozart Missa in C, “Organ Solo,” this year – along with other seasonal choral music. Interspersed throughout the festival are offerings of eurythmy, handbell music and community carol singing, all presented in candlelight without the interruption of applause. All ages are welcome; keep in mind that audience members must be able to sit quietly through a 2-hour concert. Tickets go on sale November 1st.
