The Currado family of Vietti are one of the most forward thinking yet historic families of the Barolo region, crafting blue chip, collectible wines. Located in the heart of Castiglione Falletto, the view from the historic castle encapsulates the drama of the Langhe. The Baroli from Vietti are consistently some of the best.
Another major passion of Luca’s is Barbera – who else would have a killer Barolo cru like Scarrone dedicated to it? The range of Barbera offerings, from the Barbera d’Alba, Barbera d’Asti “Tre Vigne” to the La Crena, Scarrone, and the very rare and collectible Scarrone “Vigne Vecchia” show just how passionate Luca is about Barbera – a grape often just an afterthought for producers of the caliber of Barolo of Vietti. In honor of this, we will celebrate two different delicious Vietti Barbera bottlings, the “Tre Vigne” from Asti and the famed Scarrone from Barolo, to finish the flight with the “Castiglione” Barolo. Luca’s charming and elegant wife, Elena Currado will be joining us. A special Monday night.
