"Andreas and I met in business school in Madrid and after getting to know each other we realized we wanted to be business partners. At the time, I kind of had this seedling of an idea, that eventually became Wishlist. I honestly didn't think he'd want to go for it but he embraced it. "
"I trusted Wade's reasons for choosing Boulder and now I'm really happy we did it. It's incredibly welcoming and the community is very open which is why so many startups succeed here."
"Several CEOs from here in town took meetings with us so that we could get their advice. Each CEO gave us very different ideas and we ended up combining those ideas to form the basis for the final product that drives the company the way it is today."
"In a startup, everyone has a chance to wear all the hats. You're looking for someone who has that unique utility and flexibility, but also someone you want to spend a lot of time with. You want to find a team that you want to spend your off-hours on Saturdays with."
If you could give one piece of advice to a large group of people, what would it be?
Andreas: "It's all about doing something you're passionate about. You spend so much time everyday at your job, you better like it."
Wade: "Chose your partner really carefully. When it comes to business partners, I've really lucked out."
What's your favorite place to go around here?
Andreas: "Probably Snooze, just because we never had breakfast like that in Germany."
Wade: "I would probably say the Boulder Bookstore. It's a great little spot! It's much bigger than you expect and they have an amazing book selection."
