Spring officially arrives in Downtown Boulder when the vibrant Tulip Fairy, along with pint-sized fairies and elves, parade around the Pearl Street Mall ‘welcoming the tulips’. This beloved springtime tradition features special events and activities for girls and boys and celebrate the more than 15,000 tulips that adorn the world renowned Pearl Street Mall throughout the spring season.

An unforgettable afternoon exploring Boulder’s tantalizing culinary arts scene and celebrating Colorado’s distinctive wines and distilleries while strolling through some of Downtown Boulder’s most vibrant galleries and retail boutiques. This is a ticketed event for those 21 years of age and older.
Wednesdays, June 6 - August 8
6 - 9 pm | 1300 Block of Pearl Street
From oldies to alternative and everything in between Bands on the Bricks is Boulder County's premier outdoor summer concert series taking place in the heart of Downtown Boulder on the one-and-only Pearl Street Mall. A not-to-be-missed summer tradition with 10 weeks of free concerts celebrating its 21st anniversary! Enjoy performances from the best local musicians along the front range while dancing under the stars. Featuring an outdoor beer/wine/margarita garden starting at 5:30 pm every Wednesday night. Opening musical acts start at 6 pm, headlining acts play from 7 - 9 pm.

Pearl Street Arts Fest is a juried celebration of visual arts celebrating painting, photography, jewelry and more. The event features artists from around the country; children’s art activities; live interactive performances – and much, much more!

The 5th Annual Boulder Craft Beer Festival brings together the best craft breweries from Boulder County and beyond for a tasting festival, offering attendees samples of Boulder's best beer. The festival includes live music and food for purchase. This is a ticketed event for those 21 years of age and older.

Now in its 31st year, Downtown Boulder’s Fall Fest has been one of Boulder’s most beloved community celebrations. This 3-day autumn festival features food, brews and music with the added excitement of Children’s Activities and featuring Firefly Handmade Markets.
Thursday, September 20

Sip, Shop, and Stroll your way through downtown Boulder retail stores with in-store special events planned throughout the evening. The festivities kick-off at a Sipping Garden on the 1300 block of Pearl with signature cocktails, music, and giveaways.

Each Halloween, Downtown Boulder is invaded by tiny ghosts & goblins, dinosaurs & dragons, fairies & princes, super heroes and animals of every size trick-or-treating along Pearl Street.

Santa counts down to the grand illumination of the Boulder County Courthouse and the Pearl Street Mall. Featuring a holiday concert!

Kids of all ages can visit with Santa at the Downtown Boulder Visitor Information Center for FREE. Bring your list and a camera to capture priceless holiday memories.
The Lights of December Parade
Saturday, December 1 | 6 pm | Downtown Boulder
In its 31st year, spectators will enjoy floats created and decorated by local businesses, churches and civic groups. Crowds will enjoy marching bands, lit fire engines, holiday carolers and much more. The grand finale includes an appearance by the jolly old man himself - Santa Claus!
